I specialize in supporting women and couples through pregnancy and postpartum, couples navigating relationship challenges, and parents navigating children with behavior challenges. I look at the whole family system, recognizing that each person’s experiences and relationships impact one another. I also work individually with children, teens, and adults who are experiencing life transitions, trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, and other mental health struggles. My approach to therapy prioritizes the therapeutic relationship and helping you feel safe and supported in sessions.
My work is grounded in the belief that our life experiences and our relationships with others greatly influence who we are and how we have come to be. I love getting to know your life story and what is important to you. I hope to heal those early attachment wounds and bring understanding about how they influence your life.
I use a blend of ACT, DBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based interventions to help gain acceptance of the things we cannot change as well as develop the tools needed for healing and moving forward. I provide virtual sessions as well as walk-and-talk therapy in the Livermore area to incorporate mind and body movement into healing.
